MY FOOD STORY
My journey with food began not with nourishment, but with control. Body shame crept in during my teens and by 16, I had discovered that not eating was the one thing I could control in a changing world, beginning a long dance with disordered eating. For years, my worth was measured by my size.
Even when I found more regular eating patterns, my relationship with food remained tied to my stress levels and emotional well-being. When life got hard, I got skinny—using food restriction as a false sense of security in a world that felt overwhelming.
Everything shifted in my forties when life presented challenges beyond my existing coping mechanisms. I began studying holistic counselling and meditation, diving deep into limiting beliefs, subconscious programming, and my inner dialogue. This started the beautiful, insightful journey of understanding myself both emotionally and physiologically.
As I healed emotionally, my relationship with food transformed too. The pendulum swung from restriction to comfort eating, teaching me that true peace comes from listening to my body's wisdom rather than following external rules.
The greatest gift came through my daughters' food allergies and intolerances, which forced me to learn to cook completely from scratch. As I fell in love with wholefood and began teaching others, I wanted to understand more about nutrition. I studied with Food Matters, becoming a Nutrition Coach, but I was still hungry for more. My final lap of study was with The Institute for the Psychology of Eating, where I became an Eating Psychology Mind Body Nutrition Coach. This was deeply transformative and enlightening. With so much life experience combined with a broad scope of study, I was finally ready to help others.
Today, my relationship with food is one of ease, grace, and passion. I've released the shame, deprivation, and judgment that once defined me, and I'm here to help you find that same freedom.

MY APPROACH
This work is my life's journey—a path that has led me through my own healing with mind, body, and food to arrive where I am today. I believe the most important ingredients for transformation are compassionate awareness and consciousness, which allow us to flip our script and consciously create a new relationship with ourselves.
With formal training as a Holistic Counsellor, a Nutrition Coach and an Eating Psychology Mind Body Nutrition Coach, I blend science with wisdom to support your journey. This is not a diet; instead, we learn the building blocks for satiety and true nourishment and whilst we are look at our emotional metabolism we also unravel and learn about the biology of stress and digestion. This integration of scientific understanding with soulful wisdom allows us to address not just what you eat, but why and how you eat.
My approach is holistic, intuitive, and scientific—compassionate, curious, and supportive. I'm a mindfulness advocate who believes we need to understand the biology of the brain, the physiology of stress responses, the power of the subconscious mind and the challenges of the modern food environment to create lasting change.
I deeply understand that a negative relationship with mind, body, and food can feel overpowering and limiting. I'll meet you where you are with compassion and curiosity, helping you find peace with food and body. Together, we'll help you make friends with food in a wholesome, delicious no-rules, self-loving way.
There are no rules, no diets—just conscious, self-loving awareness and body wisdom.
